I would spend hours out looking for them,nw i kw i was looking to hard. My mum and dad used to bring me and my brothers for miles across the fields to the fairy mounds, thar dotted all over Ireland but on this occasion it was just a few miles from home. The hole way their we talked of the fairys and all the magic that the mounds posest, but the home of the fae must not be disrespected dad said you must tell your name to the trees of the mound before you dare step a foot upon it he said, you have to tell them you are here he said in a whisper. you must not touch anything living on the mound not even a blade of grass my mother said, just then as i was climing to the top i nearly steped on ladybug. Idont nw how i spotted it,it just seemed magnifyed to me every thing their did. The air and the land around the mound seemed electrick, alive. At the top you could see for miles around notting but blue skys and green rolling hills. This place was special it was sacred for bird and moth. My father said we could have are tree wishis and that was are lot ask for any more and show greed would spell trouble, The trees that formed the cyrcle around the mound were full of old Wishes pending wishes got. I got my wish and my gift is wit me today and so are the fairys, they have never left my side for good or bad.
