What if we in the US had a significant shift in our government or economy like Egypt had? A shift to an economy where everyone’s basic needs were taken care of? A shift to a governance where power and control over others was a faint memory. What about all the plans you have made to support yourself and your family? What about the investments and tax saving steps you have but in place to secure your future? All of these things were done out of fear of loss. And of course they were done because fear was the operating principle in our paradigm. Change can be difficult. Particularly if you have grown accustomed to operating in fear. So accustomed that you don’t even realize you were immersed in fear. Even if you do realize it, and even if you choose to live in your heart, during the transition from the fear paradigm to the love paradigm, its a challenge to know how to act, because you are tumbling in a chaotic wave of change. The simplest (not necessarily the easiest) thing to do is to let go of your attachment to how things are, and how they will be, because you really don’t know what its all going to look like. Its not s0mething you can prepare for, unless your preparation means learning to be present and going with the flow. Discover what is the most enjoyable way for you to float down the river. Some enjoy floating on their own buoyancy. Some enjoy inner tubes. Others who choose to stay dry, choose some kind of boat. If you are floating down a river, don’t grab onto a stationary branch!
