UFOs and Starpeople? Or am I just Crazy?
Posted by Adrian Tremayne on December 19, 2010 at 1:41am
Some of us occasionally encounter people who, for one reason or another, feel
drawn to start talking to us. If we are gentle with them and really listen to
what they are saying, sometimes they start talking about things they've "never
talked to anyone else about". If you treat them with respect, and honor their
confidences, recognizing they're making themselves very vulnerable to you
emotionally, you will often find there's a torrent of things they've wanted a
chance to tell someone about, but have always hesitated for fear of either
being, or being thought, crazy.
If this seems to happen to you with any
frequency, you might consider getting together a small group of like-minded
people who are willing to talk to those drawn to you with "strange" thoughts and
events. They should be people with good heads on their shoulders who are willing
to say the rumbling noise on the street is the garbage truck going by when it
is, but who are not so skeptical they aren't willing to entertain another's
experiences as valid. They need to be able to hear about oddities without
reacting (at least outwardly) in any other than a matter-of-fact manner. "Of
course you may be hearing aliens. Some people hear them quite regularly. Tell me
why you think they're aliens. Tell me what they've told you. Tell me how you
feel about them, about what they've said. Is this interfering with your everyday
life in a negative way?" If they say yes to that last question, find out what's
going on and counsel them appropriately, or refer them to appropriate
counseling. Many people who have odd things happen to them or in their lives
simply want reassurance that they're not "going crazy" and just need someone to
tell them odd things happen to everybody sometimes, and it's nothing to get
upset about. This kind of reassurance from a supportive group is much more
effective than simply being told so by one person you unexpectedly found
yourself pouring your heart out to. Usually you can get the person who wants to
talk to meet with your group if you phrase it as "I have some friends (or a
friend if they're not ready for more than one) who've had similar things happen
that I'd like you to meet." I've found kitchen tables and tea or coffee very
effective in opening the conversations. Somehow, kitchens are welcoming and
non-threatening.
Other people want information about what's behind the
odd things - whether it's aliens, starseeds, ghosts, saints, angels, or whatever
- and those are the people who need somewhere like here to come to. United
Starseeds has groups for those things, and information and people to talk to. If
it's someone who wants to investigate rather than just be reassured, this is a
good place to bring them. Start them at the Starseed Home, and then have them
look at the Information Groups and Starseed Welcome Center. Both the Information
Groups and the Welcome Center are good ways to begin sorting out the variety of
information and experiences available here.
Also, if someone does come to
you, please post on United Starseeds about their experiences. Don't use names,
you want to allow people to keep their privacy until they're ready to show
themselves, and use generalities if the specifics can identify someone (just
like psychology books that use case histories). Let us know what you're
encountering. It gives the rest of us ideas about what to watch for, and gives
you the resource of the rest of us to use in analyzing what you're
encountering.
A truth of our biology is that some people's aliens are
generated by cells in their brains rather than outside entities. I believe
people who end up here don't fall into that category for the simple reason I
believe all of us are intelligent and inquisitive enough to have already allowed
for that factor in ourselves and determined it's not the case. Another truth is
there are entities in the Universe that have their own agendas which don't
necessarily have our (individual or collective) best interests at heart. Those
entities can also affect people too, and people affected by them may need help
in getting out from under those influences. If you run into that situation, I
recommend getting expert assistance in dealing with the problem. I am sure there
are people here who could either assist you, or could refer you to people who
would help.
The whole topic of UFOs, aliens, Starseeds and such is very
emotionally charged in today's culture. Our systems are so entrenched in the
idea that "things" must be measurable with detectors and machines, that anything
not provable physically and repeatedly is suspect and probably illusion. We have
marginalized and ostracized many people who would have been in earlier ages, or
will be in future ages, respected for their abilities and talents. The
mysterious, the "esoteric", creates fear of the unknown in the people who just
want to work enough to get a paycheck that will let them do some of the things
they want, the people who don't want to have to think about the "what ifs" and
the "maybes". If there are aliens we can contact, or who have contacted us, they
"must" be far advanced in technology and the sciences. What a threat to the
modern economies of the world! What if the aliens don't understand that
Exxon-Mobil (for example) controls large segments of the energy, food and
transportation systems of the world and offer their technology to the "wrong"
company or individual, or, worse yet, make it freely available to everyone at
the same time? It would cause a global economic collapse and (un)depression.
People might decide to stop working and go on "alien welfare". It would be chaos
and riots. No wonder there's a heavy push to keep all the things we're
interested in listed as "crazy talk". Our reality is too big a threat to the
preferred reality of the power-mongers of the planet.
There is evidence
for the existence of our reality as a truth. It's brushed aside, called an
anomaly, called falsified results, called misinterpretation or statistical
error, but it's slowly building up and becoming a landslide. When we build up
enough evidence it can't be ignored anymore, who will be the "crazy" ones?
