In my time of Need

In my time of need as an infant at birth,
I found coldness and despair.
The one who carried me had let me go
To two others who had little care.
In my time of need as a child
I saw through different eyes.
The angel Michael was my only friend
Humans just made me cry.
In my time of need as an adolescent
I was alone and scared of myself
Too much strangeness I couldn't comprehend
I was beginning to loose my mental health.
In my time of need as a young adult
I asked for help in utter fright
I needed you, Mom, cause my life was in danger
You handed me $20 and said leave my sight.
In my time of need as young mother
My best friend saw me for more
With the purest of love I had ever seen
He healed and restored my soul.
In my time of need upon awakening
I was sure I had lost my mind
A year of unimaginable reveal
A year that felt like no time
In my time of need, no wait,
There is no need anymore.
The Divine Collective showed me the way
But it was I who had to walk through the door.
