Tell a Friend

My first post: What is truth?

Truth is a rather controversial subject and as such I will now share what I perceive in regards to truth. The brain functions on bio-electrical wiring and various tissues. Your thoughts are electrical signals, your body is processed through the same signal vertices within your brain. Everything you do is related to your brain in some manner, whether you are functioning healthily or not is still determined half of the time by the state of your own mind. Did you know that stress can kill you? Literally? The health of the brain is vital in understanding what we perceive as true and now I will go into just how this is so.

Let us say you have a coin. Let us say a group of friends want you to flip this coin, heads means one thing, tails means the other thing. If you catch the coin, pretend to look at it and state whether it is heads or tails (when you do not know for sure yet what it is) would everyone not trust that answer and in a sense make that the answer? This sounds like an impossible thought doesn't it? After all how does multiple people thinking something have the ability to affect the outcome of a coin flip?

First and foremost, your PERCEPTION is the determining factor of what you may experience in your life as truth. If a person believes in the christian view of God then chances are they will have some sort of religious experience that proves to them that their beliefs are accurate. If however someone does not believe the same then their perception is closed off from this type of experience; this does not mean however that their own truth is not going to be experienced as well. What this means is that your brain acts like a projector, if you've ever been in school and had your teacher put images or words on the projector then you can get an idea of how this works. Imagine your brain as the projector machine, your thoughts being the images placed on that machine, the light shining out and displaying the image is your eyesight.

Now you may wonder, what in the world does this have to do with a coin flip? Everything actually. If you have an odd number of people watching a coin flip then chances are the majority based thought of the group will be the answer. If you have an even number of people, with one side wanting heads and the other wanting tails then really it depends on what the neutral coin flipper is expecting because he is adding on to one side more than the other. IF however a person from one side is flipping the coin then the determining factor is the confidence of each group flipping the coin.

This is called manifestation through visualization. You get what you believe basically. If one person flips a coin as mentioned before and gives an answer (which again he may not know is correct but acts like it is) will the side of the coin not be that answer? Most of the time you will find that the answer is what the majority has in mind the instant it is flipped not after the flip is done nor before it is started but during the flip. There is a brief "window" of thought that hits everyone's mind and is perceived as a passing thought "heads tails heads tails heads tails" the prominent answer is what you will see manifested which goes in  pattern of say "heads, heads, tails, heads heads heads" if that is the order in which the group's thoughts are connected in that window moment then the answer will be heads.

Let us go back to the concept of religion for a moment. The brain processes information of a belief system, the brain develops an internal system regarding that belief system then PROJECTS it outward into the actions a person does. If a person believes in nothing then what do they experience, nothing. Some may argue that there are people who did not believe in anything only to have an experience which changed their mind, how does this happen? What must be kept in mind is that all human thoughts are in a conjoined collective; one thought can affect a person on the other end of the world, this is also how prayer or ritual can be seen as genuine in religions today. All human thoughts are connected, now because of the nature of humanity not everyone can become aware of and experience this consciously; everyone does however experience this at least subconsciously in some manner.

So if a collective of people are praying for someone who they feel is "lost" then that person will experience something that moves them either towards that religion praying for them or towards a spirituality that suits their needs based on their already present lifestyle. Spirituality is a universal thing, everyone experiences it in some form at one point or another, I am not saying everyone converts to a religion. By spiritual I mean everyone has some sort of experience that makes them feel like they are more than what they are; this can be anything from a shamanic/religious experience to something with another person, a friendship, relationship love, etc.The fact is, we all have felt something beyond ourselves, whether a person calls it God, the universe, love, energy, what have you is irrelevant; the proof is in these experiences all humanity goes through.

Once more on religious ideas, one conclusion I have come to in regards to religion is that everyone has only 2 options in regards to belief systems. A person can choose to accept the possibility that "Everyone is wrong" or that "Everyone is right". This will be a difficult thing to comprehend because most people are taught "You can only have one not the other" when both realities are existing in a singular reality. Simply because one person thinks differently than you does not mean they have not experienced something real in THEIR personal version of reality. In the words of Jesus "Judge not lest you be judged" which goes with another popular saying "You get what you give." All truths are true in some manner, this is why an understanding of this fact would greatly accelerate human understanding.

Even Sidhartha (buddha) once stated that no one should believe anything even if he had said it UNLESS it agreed with their own understanding and was beneficial to people as a whole. I have learned much from believing this and as such I hope you will as well. The dynamic thing about truth is that no matter what you believe you're always right! You will not experience that which you are not open to naturally. Hardships we face are a part of human nature do not assume there is no meaning to your existence unless that is what you want! Life is without purpose by nature, which is why YOU must give it your own purpose, your own truth. Do not be so quick to follow that which you do not find enjoyable, do what you are passionate about.

As for myself, I am passionate about teaching and helping others so here I am. Have my words helped you? If not that is understandable but as I mentioned in my last journal I will continue to post what I have experienced as I feel it is my responsibility; not only that but I enjoy what I'm doing! :)

Best regards to all who read, find your own truth, believe only that which you want to experience.
